June 15, 2019 – Herbalist at home

Location: Bee’s Garden, Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Enjoy a tour of Bee’s working garden, learn about approximately 20 medicinal plants, learn how to make an infused oil and healing salve


Herbalist @ Home is a half day immersive event for individuals wanting to take their natural health and well being a step further by increasing their understanding of several medicinal plants and learning how to make an infused herbal oil and healing salve.

Blackberry Fair, 2018 – Herbs on the Hill

Location: Whitchurch, Shropshire
As part of this year’s Blackberry Fair join Medical Herbalist Bee and explore the wild foods and medicines growing locally in St Alkmunds Church grounds.

Two walks, 20 plants, and a little over 20 minutes!
Come along and join in the foraging fun at 11.30 or 2pm.
Meet at the main entrance to the Church grounds.

9 Sept 2018 – Wild Foraging Walk

Location: Ginger and Spice Festival, Market Drayton, Shropshire.
Join local Shropshire Chef, James Sherwin, and Bee on an educational and guided wild foraging walk in and around Market Drayton as part of the Ginger and Spice Festival 2018.
James and Bee will teach you how to find and identify seasonal and edible plants. James will be offering expert culinary tips whilst Bergitte will be offering advice on botany and health and wellbeing. The group will be split into two and will then meet half way when leaders will switch groups.
This event is ticketed and must be booked and paid in advance. Please email to book your place or call 07989 980016.

22 Sept 2018 – Autumn Abundance

Location: Fordhall Organic Farm
Take an autumnal stroll around the farm and learn all about the abundance of autumn – including wild fruits, nuts and roots.  What’s edible and what’s best out of Mother Nature’s seasonal pharmacy.  Enjoy feasting feasting on the delights of the autumn hedgerow with a particular focus on berries and ‘nuts’ as the Head Chef presents an afternoon tea to remember!  The walk will start at 1pm with high tea following on at approximately 3pm.

19 June 2018 – Herbalist @ Home

Guided tour of Bee’s working garden and medicine making demonstration – explore and learn about Bee’s beautiful working garden in Whitchurch.  As part of Herbal Medicine Awareness Week I will be opening up my Shropshire garden for the very first time…. With over 70 medicinal plants onsite and lots of edibles its a great opportunity to explore, get inspired and learn!
11am – Medicine making demonstration and garden tour.  Tickets are only £10 and include a small herbal gift, fresh herbal tea and something tasty!
4pm – Plant hunt for adults and kids! Enjoy a delicious light refreshment and then head out armed with your treasure trail pack and see what you can find and learn along the way….  Tickets are only £5 each for one adult and one child, tickets for additional children are £2 each.  Children remain the responsibility of their guardian throughout.

Our everyday walkways can be full of surprises…. These pedestrian paths are bursting with edible and medicinal plants – come along and learn about the amazing uses of your everyday plant allies.  Our meander will finish off with foraged tea tastings and a sweet and savoury foraged treat!
