About Me

I have always had an affinity for plants and obtained my first bachelor of science degree from Stellenbosch University (South Africa) where I majored in botany and zoology. After spending a few years working in the business sector in London my calling to work in natural healthcare became undeniably strong, this led me on to completing my BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine, along with qualifying in Holistic Massage and Aromatherapy. I am a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists , which is the oldest professional body of its kind and dates back to 1864. Plant medicine has been my primary form of healthcare for over 15 years and it underpins the health of my family.

In addition to my herbal medicine and aromatherapy practice I am proud to be a course tutor on the Heartwood Foundation Course and a Clinical Trainer for the Heartwood Professional Course.

I am the founder of Bee’s Teas which is all about blissful herbal brews. There is a blend for every mood and our range is all about top quality loose leaf herbal teas, which have been expertly formulated and hand-blended in small batches. Bee’s Teas may be purchased via selected retail outlets and we have an online shop in the pipeline.

My husband and I have been living in Whitchurch, Shropshire, since 2008 and consider ourselves privileged to raise our young children in such a beautiful and green county. I love teaching them about the natural world and exploring it through their eyes. We are part of nature and nature is part of us – all of our futures depend on us fully embracing this.

Nature is my teacher, friend and healer.
